| Initial Welcome
Through our Reception & Placement (R&P) program, the CWS resettlement team provides essential support to new neighbors during their first 90 days. From housing and school enrollment (pre-K to 12) to cultural orientation, employment services, health screenings, mental health support, and adult education (ESL), we ensure a strong start for families and individuals. We believe every family deserves respect and the ability to make choices to shape their own future.
Job Placements
CWS Winchester works closely with new neighbors to understand their educational and employment history, as well as career goals, providing job orientations and workforce readiness programs. In partnership with local employers, these 58 jobs represent first jobs, skill upgrades, and second jobs in manufacturing, agriculture, warehouse industries, and more.
We appreciate the warm welcome and support we received from CWS Winchester. From providing us with a beautiful home to assisting with essential services and schooling for our children, we are so grateful for all the CWS staff that worked with us and helped us feel welcomed.
